American League Mission Statement
The Oceanside American Little
League strives to be an organization that offers a safe, healthy and educational
environment for the children of Oceanside to learn and play America's favorite
pastime - baseball. We will teach them the rules, the athletic parts of the game
and most importantly Sportsmanship. We understand the impact that our coaches
have on each and every child who participates in our league and we will give them
the tools they need to make that impact a positive one. Winning is an important
aspect of life, but it is NOT our priority.
Our motto is:
"Winning
isn't everything, but wanting to win is!"
Learning how to play the game,
how to work hard at it, and most importantly having fun while doing so are our
primary objectives! We hope that their experiences with the Oceanside American
League will carry with them through life and that they understand that regardless
of a score, if you do your best, have fun, and apply everything that you've learned,
you are a winner!
